    Caorle, near Venice, is hosting the 2026 edition of the Italian U20 Championships. The two 5,000m track walking events took place in the late afternoon of Saturday, July 4th.     Men's U20 5000m With a large number of athletes at the start, the Technical Delegate opted for two timed sections. Athletes with the highest accreditation times, started first. The victory in this event went to Giorgio Cosentino with a time of 21:58.80. Second place went to Leonardo Innocenti in 22:25.92. The event was hosted by Robert Korzeniowski, who once again organized a walking meeting in Warsaw, part of the prestigious World Athletics Race Walking Tour and specifically Silver Label. The surprise winner’s 2:58:21 marathon race walk performance was an improvement of more than six minutes on his previous PB from October. In the championship, held in the Inciraltı Urban Forest in the senior, U20 and U18 age categories, and featuring 64 athletes from 6 countries, Turkish national athletes won a total of 11 medals: 4 gold, 5 silver, and 2 bronze.
