In the men’s half marathon walk it was a Victorian sweep on the podium, with Declan Tingay (VIC) taking out the win with a time of 1.23.59, with Will Thompson (VIC) in second with a time of 1.24.04, and Rhydian Cowley (VIC) third in 1.24.52. Today, March 7, Uzhhorod hosted the Ukrainian Team Athletics Championship in Race Walking among adults, youth, juniors and young men. Based on the results of this tournament, the Ukrainian national team will be formed to participate in the World Team Race Walking Championship, which will be hosted by Brasilia (Brazil) on April 12. Short report Cristian Cecchetto made a great debut among the youth athletes.
