Today it was the first Day of the All Russia Team Racewalking Championship.
As usual the Championships was held in Sochi (RUS).
All the distances today were a difficult trial for athletes because of the weather.
It was sunny, but very very cold and windy. At certain times the athletes had to compete with adverse wind gusts ranging from 18 to 25 meters per second.
We immediately thank Ivan Astradamov who kindly provided us with these indications and the subsequent ones that we will publish in almost real time; we thanks him also for photos.
35km men
It was a solo race of Sergey Kozhevnikov (RUS). The athlete of Republic of Mordovia have been the leader from the start.
His split times were:
- 5km: 20:50
- 10km: 41:36 (20:46)
- 15km: 1:02:21 (20:45)
- 20km: 1:22:54 (20:33)
- 25km: 1:43:33 (20:39)
- 30km: 2:04:11 (20:38)
- last 5km in 20:08
Behind Kozhevnikov the fight for the other medals was interesting between Nikolai Maksimov and Alexey Kudashkin both of Republic of Mordovia.
Nikolai Maksimov was in second place until 25km (1:45:48) and the he was catched by Alexey Kudashkin (1:45:54) after the 26th km.

Also the women competition was a solo race of Klavdiya Afanasiyeva (RUS). The athlete of Republic of Mordovia have been the leader from the start.
Her split times were:
- 5km: 22.34
- 10km: 44:56 (22:22)
- 15km: 1:07:31 (22:25)
- 20km: 1:29:57 (22:16)
- 25km: 1:52:33 (22:36)
- 30km: 2:15:38 (23:05)
- last 5km in 24:49
Margarita Nikiforova haven’t no problem to take silver behind Afanasiyeva. Her advantage on the third Kristina Lyubushkina was more that 3 minutes (3:08).

Very interesting the fight for the victory and for the other two medals solved in the last 3km.
Early leader was Vasily Mizinov (RUS)
His split times were:
- 5km: 20:06
- 10km: 39:16 (19:10)
- 15km: 1:00:21 (21:05)
- last 5km in 21:00
At 17km Mizinov pass in 1:08:46, followed by Sergey Shirobokov (1:09:25), Artem Selim (1:09:39) and Danila Martynov (1:09:43).
At 18km the advantage of Mizinov on Shirobokov and Selim is 51 seconds (1:13:00 vs 1:13:51). Martynov follows 9 second behind (1:14:00)
At the bell Mizinov pass in 1:17:10 and 36 seconds behind is Shirobokov (1:17:46). Martynov is third (1:17:52) and Selim fourth in 1:18:03

Very interesting solo race by Elvira Chepareva (RUS) who was the leader from the first lap.

Two athletes fight for the other two medals from the beginning. Anastasya Kolchina and Reykhan Kagramanova walked soulder to shoulder for 20 laps (21:42; 43:50; 1:06:47).
