The 2023 Guatemalan National Race Walking Championships were also held over the last weekend.
The races were held in a circuit on Avenida de la Reforma in Ciudad de Guatemala.
The most interesting races were those of the 20km and 35km men and women, while those that registered the highest number of members were those of the U20 and U18 youth categories.
35km men
Victory to Bernardo Uriel Barrondo Garcia (GUA) in 2:38:54
Second place to Pedro Alexander Lopez Jayez (GUA) in 2:57:44
Third place to Ervin Ernesto Morales Paau (GUA) in 3:05.35
Out of the standings in the Guatemalan championship, Jefferson Segura Zepeda (MEX) stopped the clock in 2:52:59 to finish second overall.
