The international race walking competitions calendar for the 2022 season was published yesterday on the World Athletics website.
As our readers will remember the Race Walking Challenge has been canceled and replaced by a series of competitions that form part of the World Athletics Race Walking Tour (WARWT).
The competitions were divided into three groups:
- Gold
- Silver
- Bronze
The calendar consists of:
- seven Gold competitions: Podebrady Walking (CZE), 1st Korzeniowski Warsaw Race Walking Cup (POL), Dudinska 50 (SVK), 2022 Race Walkin Tour in Taicang (CHN), Gran Premio de Rio Maior (POR), 35th Cantones de La Coruna de marcha (ESP), Suzhou Wuzhong Around Taihu International Walking Race (CHN);
- one Silver competition: 63ème Challenge Facoetti-Dahm in Montreuil (FRA)
- seven Bronze competitions: Open Irish 35km race walking in Dublin (IRL), USA Open 35km Race Walking Ch. in Santee, CA (USA), Turkish Open 20km & 35km Race Walking Ch. in Antalya (TUR), Oceania Open 20km Race Walking Ch. In Adelaide (AUS), Olomoucka dvacitka in Olomouc (CZE), Banskobystricky chedecky meeting in Banska Bystrica (SVK), Zahoracka dvadsiatka in Borsky Mikulas (SVK)
