A race walk meeting took place on Saturday 26 June in Banska Bistrica (SVK).

It was perhaps the most interesting race with six athletes at the start including South African star Lebogang Shange who recently returned racing after solving his problems.
And it is Lebogang Shange (RSA) who obtains the victory in 41:06 after passing just over the middle of the race (5.570m) in 22:48

Norbert Toth (HUN) was disqualified shortly after mid-race

Also in this race an interesting battle between two athletes from Ecuador (Magaly Bonilla and Johana Ordonez) and Olga Niedzialek (POL).
Magaly Bonilla starts in the lead and will remain there for the whole race with a passage at 5.570m of 24:56 where she is followed by teammate Johana Ordonez (25:17) and further behind by Olga Niedzialek (23:21).
In the second part of the race the Pole gets very close to Johana Ordonez, but she can't reach her.
