On Saturday 29 May 20121 in Chula Vista, California (USA), a mixed race walk on the 10,000m track distance took place at the Chula Vista Field Festival.

Six athletes at the start, with five who finished the race and 1 DQ.
Victory to Nick Christie (USA) in 41:29.40 very close to the personal best of 41:21.75 established in San Diego, CA (USA) on 2.1.2016.
Second place to Emmanuel Corvera (USA) in 42:40:21 also close to the personal best of 42:31.77 established in San Diego, CA (USA) on 2.1.2016.
Third place to Dan Nehnevaj (USA) in 43:30.21 in his first experience on the 10,000m track walk, after the multiple victories, obtained between February and March 2021, on university and inter-college races on short distances (3.000m & 5.000m track walk). We like to remember that, this new name of the USA race walk, until 2019 was dedicated to middle distance, and this season he also obtained, in his first experience on 20km, the mark of 1:26:00 by winning the USA Trials for the PanAmerican Race Walking Cup at Fairmount Park in Philadelphia (USA).

Nine athletes at the start, with eight who finished the race and 1 DQ.
Victory to Robyn Stevens (USA) in 45:48.1 which for her represents the new personal best on the distance on the track. (Previous of 47:18.60 established in El Cajon, CA (USA) on 3.6.2018.
Second place to Ewert Taylor (USA) in 46:16.68
Third place to Miranda Melville (USA) in 46:43.74
