The Slovenian Indoor Championships are being held in Novo Mesto, in the Olympic Center.
On the first day (Saturday 13th) the two walking competitions were held, both covering the 3,000m indoor distance.
3.000m indoor walk men
Only two athletes at the start, but an excellent result for the winner Jaka Grabner (SLO).
The young man born on 19.9.2003 and therefore in the first U20 year ends the race with a mark of 13:47.53 which represents the new national U20 record of Slovenia.
Second place to Filippo Kriznik (SLO) in 16:20.39
3.000m indoor walk women
In the women's race there were five athletes at the start
Also in this case the victory went to a young U20, Karin Avsenek (SLO), who has been dedicating herself to the specialty for not long. Her result was 16:06.35
Second place to Tamara Reicht (SLO) in 16:42.92
Third place to Ana Intihar Marulc (SLO) in 17:39.49
