The intense indoor activity in the USA continues; and this time also the levels of performance are quite in line with those of Europe.
 
The Rams February Invite 2021 took place on Friday and Saturday 5-6 February hosted by the Columbia International University of Columbia in the USA, with two walking events over the 3,000m indoor distance.

Nine athletes at the start.
The fight for victory between the two main contenders has produced two results of high interest that are positioned in the first two places of the world list, in the 2020-2021 season, on this distance, unusual in Europe at the male level.
 
Victory to Dan Nehnevaj (USA) in 12:14.55
Second place to Steven Smith (USA) in 12:19.01
Both do better than Alexej Terentiev (RUS) who led the ranking in 12:20.03 established in Moscow, RUS on 20.12.2020
 
Third place at Nathaniel Wilburn (USA) in 14:53.34

Victory to Caelin Sloan (USA) in 14:54.47

The results obtained on Saturday 6 February in Davenport, Iowa (USA), where the 2021 edition of the Battle in the Hive was held on the Roell Indoor Track of St. Ambrose University, was quite different.
