In fact, yesterday the Olympic champion of the 50km took part in the third phase of the team championship of the Slovak Republic which was held in Trnava (SVK).
The two previous stages took place in Dubnica (July 12) and Kosice (July 25)
As usual the men competed on the 5.000m track walk distance while the women competed on the 3.000m track walk.

It was not an easy race for Matej Toth (SVK) who was not feeling very well after a week of training the most intense of which took place on Tuesday and Wednesday.
And as in the second stage (that of Kosice) he had to succumb to Miroslav Uradnik (SVK) who won in 19:47.26, while Toth was clocked 20:21:46
