This morning in Bressanone on the occasion of the traditional Brixia Trophy, an inter-regional U18 event open to foreign athletes too, Gabriele Gamba (ITA) has improved his personal best on the distance of 5.000m track walk with the time of 21:23.23.
Gamba, on his return from the Alytus European Cup where he got a great nineth place on the 10km road in 44:19, lowered his previous 21:39.36 obtained in Mariano Comense on May 4, 2019.
This performance is currently the best U18 seasonal world performance; the previous best performance belonged to Taras Koretskyy (UKR) with the time of 21:31.20 and was obtained in Kopyvnyskiy (UKR) last April 23, 2019.
