29/03/2019   Cesar Moreno Bravo (MEX): today celebrates 85 year

Usually Marcia dal Mondo does not have the habit of remembering the birthdays of athletes, and people of a certain importance who are connected to the world of race walking.

But today we feel the need to make an exception.

Cesar Moreno Bravo celebrates his eighty-fifth birthday today.
Our attendance with Cesar Moreno dates back to the early Nineties and has increasingly strengthened over time.
We must be grateful to him for the indications and advice he has always wanted to give us and that we have always kept as a guideline in our normal activity: the good of race walking, the good of athletics and above all the value of friendship.

The writer wishes to remind him, together with his sweet wife Veronica, of a very brief vacation of a couple of days spent in Venice and Trieste where he wished to visit the Miramare Castle for the implication that Maximilian of Habsburg had for Mexico.
We talked about history and humanism, forgetting about dinner at the seaside for a while, the beloved athletics and race walking.
Three beautiful days dedicated to a man I am honored to be a friend of.

Happy birthday Cesar.
