16/01/2019   Vasylyna Vitovshchyk (UKR) suspended due to positivity at doping test

Even the shadows of doping on race walking in recent times, unfortunately, has often jumped into the limelight for these infractions.

We are talking about Ukraine that only in 2018 had to deal with four other suspensions of top athletes: Ruslan Dmytrenko, Nazar Kovalenko, Igor Glavan and Alina Tsviliy for whom the process have not yet come to an end.
But how can we forget the banning of Lyudmla Olyanovska who has not competed since the end of 2015 and who has been disqualified until the end of 2019.

Now it's time for Vasylyna Vitovshchyk (UKR), fifth in the women's 50km in the European Championships in Berlin last year. According to information from the Anti-Doping Agency of Ukraine, the athlete was found positive at a surprise doping control last December and was suspended from December 24, 2018 until the process was completed.

Vasylyna Vitovshchyk boasts the following personal bests on the various outdoor distances
