The Orthodox Christian Church celebrates Christmas according to the Julian Calendar on January 6 (Epiphany).
The following week in Ukraine in Kiev took place an Indoor Meeting of athletics reached its XXIV Edition called "Meeting of Beginning Christmas" in which the walkers (men & women) compete both on the distance of 5.000m indoors.

Excellent results for the first three ranked athletes who place them in the top ten world positions of the new indoor season.
The victory went to Ivan Losev (UKR) who so celebrated in the best way the recent (Nov. 8, 2018) wedding with the walker Inna Kashyna.
Losev, (born Jan. 26, 1986) won in 19:20.01, which, at the moment, represents the fourth world performance of the indoor season 2018/2019 on distance. Losev boasts a personal best on the distance of 19:02.59 obtained in the last year's edition of the "Christmas Start Meeting" on Jan. 9, 2018.
Second place to Eduard Zabuzhenko (UKR) not yet 21 years old (born Apr. 18, 1998) in 19:42.21.
Also the performance of Zabuzhenko is of high technical level representing, at the moment, the fifth indoor performance of the season, as well as being the new personal best of the athlete (previous of 21:16.82 obtained in Minsk, BLR on Feb. 27, 2016).
Third place to Serhiy Budza (UKR) in 19:34.84 also for him new personal best that improves the 19:43.14 obtained in the edition of the last year of the "Start Christmas Meeting" on Jan. 9, 2018.
Also the fourth classified, Valeriy Litanyuk (UKR) got an interesting time under 20:00.00 (19:50.11).

Definitely to celebrate the marriage even more than the new husband is the new wife.
Inna Kashyna (UKR) not only gets the victory in 21:05.79, but this performance also represents her personal record on the unusual indoor distance of 5,000m indoor walk women (previous of 21:48.28 obtained in Sumy, UKR on Feb. 13, 2013)
Second place to the specialist of 50km (4th in Berlin 2018) Khrystyna Yudkina (UKR) in 21:47.87 also for her new personal best on the unusual distance indoor women of 5,000m indoor walk (previous of 22:37.83 obtained in Sumy, UKR on Dec. 24, 2016).
Third place to Mariya Shved (UKR) in 25:09.19
