13/01/2019   Sheffield (GBR): Cameron Corbishley won UK Indoor in 11:54.83, in women victory of Madeline Shott






On January 6,  2019 the England Indoor Championships organized by the UK Athletics took place in Sheffield (GBR).

An oval that for years has hosted the main indoor races of Great Britain.

 
As often happens in England the local indoor championships are held on the distance of 3,000m for both men and women.
 
 
3.000m indoor men
 
It finally made her win the England Indoor Champion Cameron Corbishley (GRB), after six previous failed attempts.
This season start the athlete U23 coached by Andrew Drake stopped the clock in 11:54.83 good time under 12:00.00 (Corbishley boasts a personal best outdoor on the 3.000m walk of 11:19.19 established in Leeds, GBR on June 12, 2017).
In 2014 he arrived 4th in 12:49.05

In 2015 he was DQed

In 2016 he arrived 3rd in 12:09.78

In 2017 he was DQed

In 2018 he arrived 2nd in 12:24.99

 
Second place to Christopher Snook (GBR) in 12:41.34
Third place to Tom Partington (GBR) in 12:52.25
 
Seven athletes at the start, of which five have finished the race and two DQs.
